The fabrics we use for our linen blinds contain up to 50% natural linen — the rest consists of synthetic fibres that significantly reduce creasing and help the blind maintain an elegant look throughout the day. In addition, the horizontal rods built into the blind continuously smooth the fabric, so the folds arrange themselves evenly and predictably each time the blind is raised. The result? The natural texture and warmth of linen — without the strong creases typical of pure linen.

Yes, the linen fabrics used in our Roman blinds can be washed in a washing machine at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Before washing, we recommend removing the rods and avoiding intensive spinning. You can also freshen them from dust, for example in a bathtub, without removing the rods.

Our linen fabrics are decatised before sewing, which minimises shrinkage. When washed at 30°C, possible shrinkage is around 1–2% — for a blind 100 cm wide, this means a maximum of 1–2 cm. In practice, with standard installation, this is hardly noticeable.

Linen blinds are exceptionally versatile — they naturally fit Scandinavian, Japandi, wabi-sabi and boho interiors, but they also work beautifully in classic, rustic or minimalist arrangements. The raw texture of linen contrasts well with concrete and wood, while warm natural shades such as ecru, beige and sand combine easily with most colour palettes.

Natural linen fibres are relatively resistant to fading, although intense, long-term sunlight may slightly lighten the fabric — this is a natural process for the material, which many customers see as an additional aesthetic benefit, known as the vintage effect.

Each Roman blind is handmade to individual order — the standard production time is up to 7 working days. Delivery time should also be added, usually 1–2 working days. If you are planning your purchase in advance — for example for a renovation or a move — it is worth ordering with at least a 2-week buffer.
